Kenworth T880 Concrete Pump Truck Produces $505,000 Donation To Support CIM Education Program

Sold at Annual CIM Auction at World of Concrete

A donated Kenworth T880 concrete pump truck sold during the Concrete Industry Management annual auction recently at World of Concrete in Las Vegas will provide a major contribution to the CIM educational program, thanks to Kenworth, Alliance Concrete Pumps, Papé Kenworth and other Kenworth supplier partners.
The Kenworth T880 concrete pump truck was purchased by East Coast Concrete Pumping, a residential and commercial concrete pumping company based in Taylors, South Carolina.

The donated Kenworth T880 features a PACCAR MX-13 engine rated at 455-hp and 1,650 lb.-ft. of torque with a truck-mounted Alliance Concrete Pumps JXLZ 38-meter boom pump. Other contributing suppliers for this truck include Alcoa, Allison Transmission, Bridgestone, Meritor and Neway.

“Educational programs such as CIM’s pave the way to new and innovative ideas, making the industry stronger,” said Clayton White, Alliance Concrete Pumps president and CEO. “We are pleased to have partnered with Papé Kenworth and make a donation to assist in the CIM fundraising effort.”

Proceeds from the auction will support the CIM educational program and help fund scholarships for students pursuing a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management at Middle Tennessee State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Texas State University, California State University – Chico, and South Dakota State University.

We appreciate this important opportunity to assist CIM in its efforts to provide students with a chance at extending their education through the Concrete Industry Management program.”
